BRENHAM MAN CHARGED AFTER STOLEN VEHICLE REPORT
A report of a stolen vehicle led to the arrest of a Brenham man on Thursday.
(Washington Co. Jail)
Shortly after 2:15 p.m., Brenham police officers responded to the area of Riggs Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Police say the suspect, 39-year-old Bruce Bennett Ray, fled the scene but was eventually located inside a nearby residence.
Ray was placed into custody for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and for two active warrants out of Washington County, those being Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
