BRENHAM POLICE MAKE WARRANT ARRESTS FOR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION, FAMILY VIOLENCE
Two Brenham residents were booked into jail over the weekend on warrants.
Shortly after 3 p.m. Friday, Brenham police responded to the 500 block of Riggs Street in reference to a lapsed physical disturbance. While conducting the investigation, police say the mother, identified as 43-year-old Wendy Lynn Meyer, showed to have a warrant out of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Motion to Revoke – Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams. Meyer was placed into custody for the warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call for service in reference to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Northview Circle Drive. According to police, a verbal disturbance had occurred, but a party in the disturbance had an active warrant for Continuous Violence Against the Family. 40-year-old Andy Joelee Doolan was taken into custody for his warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.
