BLINN AG MECHANICS SHOW MOVING MOST ACTIVITIES TO WASHINGTON CO. EXPO
Due to inclement weather, the Blinn College District has moved most of the activities at Wednesday’s Ag Mechanics Show to the Washington County Fairgrounds.

The Wednesday, April 23, event will begin at the fairgrounds with a 9:45 a.m. opening ceremony that includes remarks from Dr. Mary Hensley, Chancellor of the Blinn College District, and Johnnie Schroeder, one of the show’s original organizers. Project judging will begin at the fairgrounds at 10 a.m.
Welding and cutting contests will still be held at the W.J. “Bill” Rankin Agricultural Complex on the Blinn-Brenham Campus. Those contests are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. for welding and 1:30 p.m. for the cutting contest.
The show is marking its 25th anniversary this year. It has grown into one of the largest shows in the state, with almost 300 entries expected this year.
