BURTON LADY PANTHERS SWEEP GRANGER IN AREA ROUND OF PLAYOFFS, SET TO FACE WEIMAR NEXT

The Burton Lady Panther softball team swept Granger in the Area Round playoffs this weekend, 11-3 and 3-0. The victory propels Burton to the Region Semi-Finals where they will face Weimar. The best-of-3 series will be played in Waller with Game 1 set for Thursday at 7:00 and Game 2 Friday at 7:00. If a Game 3 is needed, that will take place Saturday at 1:00.
