SMOKY NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named Smoky as its Pet of the Week.

Smoky is a 5-year-old neutered Domestic Medium Hair cat.  Brenham Animal Services says he is playful and endearing, and though he is shy at first with strangers, he will warm up with plenty of love and affection.  He does well with children and is good with other cats if there is a slow introduction, but he has never been around other dogs.

Staff members at the shelter say Smoky is litter box-trained and is not prone to accidents.  He enjoys hunting his mouse toys, tends to free roam around the house while his parents are gone, and sleeps either in his cat room or on the couch or bed.  He has only been an inside cat and would prefer to keep it that way.
