TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF METAL DETECTING CLUBS HOSTING TREASURE SHOW, OPEN HUNT THIS WEEKEND IN BRENHAM
The Texas Association of Metal Detecting Clubs is gathering this weekend in Brenham for its Texas Treasure Show and Open Hunt.
Events will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Fireman’s Training Center.
Guests will be able to check out displays of gold, silver, coins, jewelry, and varieties of artifacts.
Booths will have treasure hunting finds from metal detecting clubs all over Texas. There will also be vendors with metal detecting and mining equipment, books, coins, bottles and Civil War relics. Several guest speakers are also scheduled to present seminars.
Children 12 and under are invited to a free metal detecting hunt on Sunday at 2 p.m.
