REP. WHARTON TO OPEN DISTRICT OFFICE IN HUNTSVILLE

  

State Representative Trey Wharton has announced the opening of a new House District 12 legislative district office in Huntsville.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. at 2503 Lake Road, Suite A-100. 

The Huntsville district office will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Constituents will be able to visit in person or call 936-649-0510 for assistance with state agencies, legislative questions or other district-related matters.

Wharton said the opening of the district office is “another important step toward providing direct, accessible service to the people we represent.”

Wharton’s district staff includes:

  • Julie Porter, Constituent Services Director
  • Makenna McDaniel, Legislative Aide
  • Michelle Moya, Legislative Aide

Later this year, Wharton plans to launch mobile district hours to serve residents across all counties in House District 12.  The district is made up of Grimes, Madison, Robertson, Walker and Washington counties and part of Brazos County.
