BRENHAM WOMAN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham woman is in custody for an aggravated assault charge following her arrest Sunday night.
Just before 8 p.m., Brenham police were dispatched to a weapon-involved situation in the 100 block of Salem Road.
Police say their investigation revealed that 21-year-old Jetta Shows allegedly attempted to assault a family member with a knife.
Shows was placed into custody for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
