BRENHAM PD ARRESTS TWO ON WARRANTS, ONE ON ENHANCED INVALID LICENSE CHARGE

  

Brenham police reported three arrests on Thursday.

Fred Thompson II
(Washington Co. Jail)

Just shy of 9 a.m., Officer Downs was patrolling downtown when he observed a welfare concern.  Following investigation, police determined that a subject, identified as 48-year-old Fred Thompson II of Brenham, showed an active warrant out of Brenham Municipal Court for Walking on Highway with Traffic – No Sidewalks.  Thompson was placed into custody for his warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Savannah Rodriguez
(Washington Co. Jail)

Close to 9:15 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Lockett Street in reference to a warrant service.  Upon arrival, 27-year-old Savannah Rodriguez of Brenham was placed into custody for an active felony warrant for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years of Age.  Rodriguez was taken to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Lawrence Edward Allen Jr.
(Washington Co. Jail)

At 7 p.m., Officer Jackson conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway for a license plate violation.  Police say after further investigation, they learned that 44-year-old Lawrence Edward Allen Jr. of Brenham was driving while his license was invalid with two previous convictions.  Allen was taken into custody for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and transported to the Washington County Jail.
