BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS GRANT APPLICATION
The Burton City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday in support of a local organization seeking grant funding for a community improvement project.
The council will vote on a letter explaining the relationship with Burton Friends and Neighbors and approving a grant application for the changing of ballpark lights to LEDs and adding covers to seating areas.
At the council’s latest meeting, Burton Mayor Karen Buck said the organization is seeking to obtain grant funds through the Lower Colorado River Authority for the ballpark upgrades.
The council will meet Tuesday at noon at Burton City Hall.
