THREE ARRESTS FOR SHERIFF’S OFFICE INCLUDE BOOKING ON CHILD SEX ABUSE WARRANT
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported three arrests between Thursday and Sunday.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday, deputies executed a felony arrest warrant in the 100 block of Jackson League Circle. 36-year-old Ronald Jason Cienega of Brenham was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Washington County Jail for Continuous Sex Abuse of a Child Victim Under 14 – Insufficient Bond.
Close to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sergeant Pfeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of FM 109 for speeding. During the stop, a vehicle search was conducted, and the sheriff’s office reported locating narcotics and a weapon. 47-year-old Jonathan Keith Junek of Somerville was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.
A few minutes after 2:15 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an accident at Highway 290 East and FM 1371. After further investigation, the driver, 19-year-old Hayden Andres Hillman of Cypress, was booked into the Washington County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.
