WASHINGTON CO. PUBLIC STRATEGIC PLANNING MEETINGS BEGIN TUESDAY
Washington County residents are invited tonight (Tuesday) to the first in a series of public meetings to provide input on the county’s strategic planning efforts.
The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Meyersville Volunteer Fire Department.
Each of the four meetings will be focused on the specific needs and voices of the community within each commissioner’s precinct. Tonight’s event will focus on Precinct 1.
Citizens are encouraged to give feedback and comments in order to help shape the creation of a countywide strategic plan that guides the county’s investments, services and development in the years to come. Topics of discussion will include economic growth, public safety and wellness, housing and infrastructure, and facility needs.
Follow-up meetings are scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Burton Volunteer Fire Department for Precinct 4, July 24th from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. at the Washington County Expo Event Center for Precinct 3, and July 31st from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Washington County Expo Sales Facility for Precinct 2.
