BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS 2025-26 BUDGET, STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE

  

The Brenham School Board will continue preparation for Brenham ISD’s upcoming school year at its meeting on Monday. 

Trustees will hold a budget workshop and receive updates on the district’s finances and the strategic planning committee.

Later, the board will discuss the 2025-26 employee handbook and hear a presentation from Washington County Crime Stoppers. 

In action items, board members will consider approval of a bank depository bid, budget amendments, the district’s property and casualty insurance carrier, and routine policy updates.

An executive session will be held for discussion and possible approval of an ESL/bilingual coordinator. 

The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.
