SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS TWO ON WARRANTS, PLUS A CHARGE FOR FAILURE TO ID AS FUGITIVE

  

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office made two warrant arrests over the weekend.

Shortly after 10 a.m. Friday, Corporal Zavala responded to the 100 block of Main Street for a warrant service.  25-year-old Kelvin James Levi, Jr. of Washington was taken into custody on active warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail.  He has been charged with Motion to Revoke Probation – Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Motion to Revoke Probation – Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.

Close to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Corporal Salinas conducted a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Reagan Beth Lane for speeding.  Upon making contact, the sheriff’s office says the passenger exited the vehicle and attempted to walk away.  After reportedly providing a false name, the passenger was identified as 36-year-old Bryson Demond Jordan of Hockley, who had outstanding warrants in Waller and Harris counties.  Jordan was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Failure to Identify as a Fugitive Giving False Information, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and four total counts of Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions, including three out of Waller County and one out of Harris County.
