BRENHAM FD CALLED OUT TO MULTIPLE ACCIDENTS BETWEEN WEDNESDAY & EARLY THURSDAY
The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Wednesday and one early this (Thursday) morning.
Close to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, units were called out to a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of West Blue Bell Road. Upon arrival, they found two cars in the roadway. They stopped fluids leaking from one of the vehicles before returning to service.
A few minutes shy of 5 p.m., another motor vehicle accident was reported in the 2800 block of Tommelson Creek Road. The fire department assisted EMS and was released after the patients were transported. No fluids were leaking.
Around 7 p.m., BFD personnel responded to a reported grass fire on Twisted Oak Drive. They found and extinguished a small pile of smoking debris.
At 2:30 a.m. today, units went out to a crash in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West and found an 18-wheeler blocking the roadway with fluids leaking. They stopped the fluids and blocked traffic until the truck was removed.
