BRENHAM CUBS FRESHMAN FOOTBALL KICKS OFF PRACTICE

The future of Brenham Cubs football is back in action as the freshman team kicked off their first official practice of the season this Monday at 6:00 p.m. With energy high and expectations even higher, the young Cubs began laying the foundation for what promises to be an exciting season.

As part of their preseason preparations, the freshmen will take the field for an intersquad scrimmage on Saturday, August 9 at Cub Stadium from 9-10am, giving coaches and fans a first look at the talent and depth on the roster.

Meanwhile, the Varsity and JV squads are set to begin their own grind starting Monday, August 11, with early morning practices kicking off at 5:50 a.m. sharp. As the Cubs gear up for another competitive year, all eyes are on the practice field as the teams build chemistry, sharpen skills, and prepare for Friday night lights.

The countdown to football season has officially begun in Brenham.
