WASHINGTON CO. FAIR VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION NIGHT SATURDAY

  

The Washington County Fair will recognize volunteers for their service tomorrow (Saturday) at the fair’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Night.

The event will take place from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at Silver Wings Ballroom. 

Food and refreshments will be available, music will be provided by The Emotions, and attendees will be able to win door prizes.  This year’s candidates for Washington County Fair Queen will also be announced.

Assistant Fair Manager Madalynn Kainer says the event is a way to give back to the volunteers who make the fair what it is, while also building anticipation for fair season.

All current volunteers at the fair and a guest are invited to attend.  Volunteer forms can be found on the fair’s website, www.washingtoncofair.com. 

Advance season tickets for the fair will go on sale tomorrow night.  They can be obtained from the candidates themselves or on the fair’s website.
