BRENHAM PD MAKES MULTIPLE WARRANT, INTOXICATION ARRESTS OVER WEEKEND

  

Brenham police arrested five people between Friday and Sunday.

Just past 5 p.m. Friday, Officers Duran and Torres responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance call.  Police say their on-scene investigation revealed an involved male was intoxicated in a public place.  The man was identified as 25-year-old Carlos Javier Hernandez-Colemenarez of Brenham, who was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of Washington County for No Driver’s License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was transported to the Washington County Jail for his two active warrants and for Public Intoxication.

Approaching 6:45 p.m., Officer Heinecke conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of South Day Street for no front license plate.  The driver, 41-year-old Rikki Mejias of Webster, was arrested for two active warrants out of Washington County: No Driver’s License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  Mejas was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in.

At 9:45 p.m., Officer Heinecke conducted a traffic stop for a defective taillamp in he 200 block of Highway 290 West.  The driver, 36-year-old Marvin Frazier of Brenham, was arrested for four active warrants out of Washington County, including two counts of No Driver’s License, Driving While License Invalid and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  Frazier was transported to the Washington County Jail. 

Close to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Officer Heinecke was dispatched to the area of the 700 block of Parkview Avenue for a disturbance.  25-year-old Breanna Nowak of Brenham was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail for Public Intoxication.

Nearing 9:15 p.m., Sergeant Buckner performed a traffic stop in the 1500 block of FM 389.  After further investigation, standardized field sobriety tests were conducted.  The driver, 39-year-old Jesus Rodriguez-Pacheco of Brenham, was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years of Age.
