SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS ON WARRANTS INCLUDING BURGLARY, AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office booked four people into jail over the weekend.

Shortly after 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Corporal Crosby conducted traffic stop in the 12200 block of Highway 290 East for an expired registration.  The driver, 34-year-old Jorge Cruz Villatoro of Houston, was found to have active warrants and was taken into custody.  Villatoro was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Display/Expired Registration and No Driver’s License.

Around 1:30 p.m., Deputy Holton was dispatched to the jail regarding a person there for inmate visitation who was stated to have active warrants.  37-year-old Allan Gilmon of Brenham was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Other Felony.

Ezekiel Randolph Scott

A few minutes past 2:15 a.m. Sunday, deputies conducted a warrant service in the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive.  18-year-old Ezekiel Scott of Brenham was placed into custody without incident for his warrants out of the Brenham Police Department: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm – Gang Member. 

Close to 11:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the 9000 block of FM 1371.  Deputies were advised that there was a male subject fighting in the parking lot.  Upon arrival, deputies located the subject, who they identified as 33-year-old Ryan Kent of Brenham.  Kent was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication.
