BLINN BOARD TO CONSIDER 2026-27 TUITION & FEES
The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday to act on setting the tuition and fee rates for the 2026-27 Fiscal Year.
Any change to the rates would be Blinn’s first in two years, as the board voted at this time last year to maintain the existing rates for the fall 2025 semester. Trustees then voted last June to keep them the same for the 2026 spring and summer terms.
The College’s decision to keep the rates steady came as the state asked community colleges to freeze their tuition and fees.
Current per-semester credit hour rates are $64 for in-district residents, $123 for out-of-district Texas residents, and $279 for out-of-state and international students. The general fee is $80 per credit hour.
The action on the tuition and fees will be the only regular action item to address, as the board’s only other business will include monthly reports and the consent agenda.
The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the third-floor board room of the Brenham Campus Administration Building. The meeting will be livestreamed on Blinn College’s YouTube channel.
