BRENHAM STUDENT RECEIVES $10,000 SCHOLARSHIP

Brenham High School Senior Madisyn Maynard has been selected as a recipient of a very special scholarship.
Maynard was chosen to receive the 2026 Live Like Knox Foundation Kindness Carries On Scholarship.
The $10,000 scholarship goes to support the college or trade school plans for each of its recipients.
Maynard was chosen as one of 30 recipients out of 155 nominations for exemplifying kindness, inclusivity, leadership, and joy—core to the mission of the Live Like Knox Foundation, which was named for 12-year-old Knox Dydalewicz.
Maynard and the others who were selected will be honored at the 2026 Live Like Knox Foundation Scholarship & Awards Dinner on May 16 at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel.
The Live Like Knox Foundation was founded by Knox’s parents, Kimberly and Kevin Dydalewicz, and big brother Kaden, to carry forward his light, kindness, and joy.
