LOCAL CHURCH HOSTING WILLIE NELSON MASS

  

The fourth Annual Willie Nelson Tribute Mass, hosted by Saint Cecilia's Round Top, is coming up this Sunday.

The service is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the historic Round Top Dance Hall located at 550 North Washington Street.

This special service celebrates the country legend’s birthday. He will be turning 93 years old on April 29.

The Mass is titled "The Wisdom of Willie: Live Every Day" and features an extraordinary group of musicians including Sara Hickman, Crispin Schroeder, Ben Jones, Joey McGee, Stephen Mansolo, Anna La Mare, Bobby McDonald, Rob Kazenel, Ella Broussard, and the award-winning steel player Flavio Pasquetto from Rome, Italy , who was recently inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame.

The service includes all songs either written or recorded by Willie Nelson.

Author and Priest, Father Bill Miller, will present the message derived from the spiritual wisdom of Willie.

This service is free and open to the public.
