FAYETTE COUNTY JAIL PASSES INSPECTION

  

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that the Fayette County Jail in La Grange has passed its latest inspection. 

On Wednesday, the jail was visited by Inspector Michael Garrett with The Texas Commission on Jail Standards. 

Then, Sheriff Korenek received a letter on Thursday from the Jail Commission stating they wanted to acknowledge the excellent work of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office with a Certificate of Compliance for the Fayette County Jail. 

The letter said that the certificate of compliance is a direct result of the department’s commitment to excellence and further attests, signifies, and demonstrates the department’s dedication and professionalism in maintaining a safe, secure, and sanitary facility. 

The letter also recognized the Fayette County Commissioners’ Court and the Fayette County Judge for providing the necessary budgetary support for jail operations. 

Sheriff Korenek recognized the Jail Administrator who has been in his new role for less than 6 months.  Brad Neville has been a Corrections Officer for 19 years with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and was recently been promoted to Jail Administrator.
