BURTON FFA TEAMS PLACE HIGH AT STATE CONTESTS

  

Several Burton FFA teams earned high marks in recent state-level competitions.

The Wildlife Team placed 21st at the state wildlife contest on April 20th at the Stephen F. Austin Experimental Forest in Nacogdoches.  The team consisted of Matthew Roemer, Archer Fuller, Lexi Broesche, Laci Broesche and Kinley Frank.

The Dairy Cattle Judging Team finished in eighth place at the state dairy contest on April 23rd at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.  The team was made up of Hailey Rudloff (fifth high point individual), Taylor Groce, Kolbie Parker and Mia Odom.

The Livestock Judging Team took ninth place at the state livestock contest on April 25th at Texas A&M University in College Station.  Team members were Taylor Groce (13th high point individual), Hailey Rudloff, Paige Fritsch and Brynn Caldwell.

The Horse Judging Team competed this past Saturday at the state horse judging contest at Texas Tech University in Lubbock and placed 12th.  The team’s members included Kara Landriault (11th high point individual), Amaya Williams, Kelsey Landriault and Reese Spacek.
