TWO FIRE ALARMS BETWEEN MONDAY, EARLY TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FD
The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice between Monday and early this (Tuesday) morning.
Approaching 11:15 a.m. Monday, units were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of West Stone Street for a fire alarm. Nothing was showing from the exterior, and there were no signs of smoke or fire upon entering. The homeowner was cooking at the time when the alarm went off. Firefighters reset the alarm and returned to service.
Another fire alarm was reported just shy of 12:15 a.m. today at the Brenham State Supported Living Center, 4001 Highway 36 South. Nothing was showing from the outside of the building. The department found a bad detector and reset the alarm.
