BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO FOR DWI, ANOTHER FOR VIOLATING PROTECTIVE ORDER
Brenham police arrested three people on Tuesday, including one for violating a protective order and two others for driving while intoxicated.
Just shy of 1 p.m., Officer Trinten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Highway 105 after observing a vehicle connected to a wanted person. Police say 53-year-old Timoteo Gonzalez Manzano of Flatonia showed to have an active warrant out of the Washington County Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace for Violation of a Bond/Protective Order Two or More Times Within 12 Months. Gonzalez Manzano was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked for the warrant.
At 4:15 p.m., Officer Trinten Rolling and Officer Mateo Guillen responded to the 200 block of East Main Street regarding a welfare concern. Police say their initial investigation revealed that a subject had been operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. 72-year-old Patricia Larson of Brenham was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Close to 10:30 p.m., Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving traffic violation in the 200 block of Commerce Street. During the stop, police say they found the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway, with an open alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle. 37-year-old Joshua Florian of Cypress was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container and booked into the Washington County Jail without incident.
