BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. CALLED OUT FOR FIRE ALARM, ACCIDENT

The Brenham Fire Department responded to one call on Friday and another early this (Saturday) morning.

Around 10:15 a.m. Friday, units were dispatched to 212 East Main Street in downtown Brenham for a fire alarm. Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building. They found contractors on scene that produced dust, causing the alarm to go off. The alarm was reset.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m. today, firefighters were called out for a transportation incident at Highway 290 West and FM 389. They located a single vehicle with minor damage and no injuries. After checking for fluids leaking and finding none, the department returned to service once the roadway was back open.
