BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO. OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR JUNETEENTH
City of Brenham and Washington County offices will be closed next Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
Closures will include Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Pet Adoption and Animal Services, and all county facilities. The Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will be closed on Friday and Saturday, June 19th and 20th.
All pools at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.
The Brenham Washington County Visitor Center will remain open with regular hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will also have normal hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while residential and commercial trash pick-up will continue on a standard schedule.
The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Juneteenth. Members can access their account information and make payments by visiting https://bluebonnet.coop, using the MyBluebonnet mobile app or calling 800-842-7708. They can report power outages through the website or mobile app, by calling 800-949-4414, or texting OUT to 85700 through Bluebonnet Outage Alerts.
