ONE FIRE ALARM CALL WEDNESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
The Brenham Fire Department was called out for a fire alarm on Wednesday.
Just after 7:45 a.m., units were dispatched to Kruse Village, 1700 East Stone Street, for a report of a fire alarm sounding.
The department arrived to find nothing showing from the exterior of the building. Firefighters found that the alarm went out due to a resident cooking bacon with the vent fan off. No fire or smoke was found inside the apartment, and the alarm was reset.
