WASHINGTON COUNTY CHAMBER TO HOST COMPUTER COURSES

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is going to be offering three upcoming computer-based courses during the month of July to assist their members.

The first session, “Chamber 101”, is going to be held on July 13 at 9am at the Chamber Office located at 314 South Austin Street in Brenham.

The purpose is to help local businesses maximize their chamber membership on-line.

Participants will learn how to optimize their page on the Chamber Directory, track and understand analytics, and boost their visibility in the community.

The Chamber is then hosting a Lunch & Learn workshop on “Computer and Internet Basics.”

The workshop is presented by the Brazos Valley Council of Government and Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley.

It will be held on July 14, from 11:30am-1pm at the Chamber Office in Brenham as well.

Among the items being covered are the parts of the computer, a Microsoft Word overview, and common troubleshooting for issues such as slowness.

The final session is “A.I. Basics”, which will be on July 28th from 11:30am-1pm. The location has not yet been determined.

Please RSVP for each of these events and bring a laptop to ensure you get to practice in these workshops.

If your business would like to be a lunch sponsor, please contact Mandy at 979-836-3695 or Mandy@BrenhamTexas.com.
