BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH TERRORISTIC THREAT

  

A Brenham man was arrested by local police on Thursday for terroristic threat.

Close to 8:45 a.m., Brenham Police Corporal Edward Ortega and Officer Mason Guillen were dispatched to the 2400 block of Highway 290 West regarding a disturbance.

Upon arrival, police say the reporting party informed officers that an individual, identified as 39-year-old Russell James Allbright, had allegedly made terroristic threats to staff personnel. 

Police report that Allbright had fled the scene, but was located in the 200 block of Lange Lake Road and placed into custody.  He was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Washington County for illegal outdoor burning.

Allbright was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Terroristic Threat Causing Fear of Imminent Serious Bodily Injury and Outdoor Burning of Waste/Toxic Material.
