BLINN BASEBALL TO HOST ID CAMP ON AUGUST 15

High school players entering grades 9-12 are invited to take part in the upcoming Blinn Buccaneer Baseball ID Camp. The camp is going to be held on Saturday, August 15, at Leroy Dreyer Field on the Brenham Campus.

The camp will be split into two sessions. The first session at 9:30am will include catchers, infielders, and outfielders. The second session is at 1pm for pitchers, and they ask that catchers also stick around.

The Blinn coaching staff will be evaluating players at all positions. Emphasis will be placed on times in the 60-yard dash and running to first base.

They are also going to evaluate arm strength from defensive positions, and offensive abilities in batting practice.  

The cost to attend is $100, cash only.

Players also need to bring a copy of a current physical exam, a completed evaluation form that you can find on-line at buccaneersports.com, all personal baseball equipment, water, food, and snacks, and a signed waiver form that will be provided at the start of camp. If the player is under 18, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
