BRENHAM FD CALLED OUT FOR ACCIDENTS, FIRE ALARM
The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Thursday and once early this (Friday) morning.
Just shy of 6 p.m. Thursday, units were dispatched to the 4800 block of FM 50 for a report of a transportation incident with entrapment. They returned to service after the Prairie Hill Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the location and found no entrapment.
Firefighters responded to another accident shortly before 9:30 p.m. at Highway 290 East and Tiaden Lane. They found no injuries or fluids leaking, and they returned to the station after the roadway was cleared.
A few minutes after 3:15 a.m. today, BFD personnel responded to a fire alarm at 222 East Main Street. Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building, and the department found that the alarm was caused by water dripping in a smoke detector. Units showed the owner what they found before clearing the call.
