BELLVILLE STUDENT BECOMES FFA PRESIDENT

For the first time in history, a Bellville High School student has been elected as the Texas FFA State President.

Katelyn Krenek was selected for the office at the 98th Annual Texas State FFA Convention in Fort Worth.

She was part of a group of 17 Bellville FFA members that made the trip to the convention.

With her election, Krenek becomes the first ever FFA President from Bellville and Area XI.

Krenek will get to spend the next year traveling around the state and giving speeches and presentations to FFA Chapters, Groups, and other organizations.

In addition to becoming president, she was also recognized as a Ford Leadership Scholar.
