WASHINGTON COUNTY MAN DOING OKAY AFTER A BEE ATTACK

A Washington County man says that he is doing okay after being the victim of a bee attack on Wednesday.
According to the Prairie Hill Volunteer Fire Department, the victim was mowing along his fence, when suddenly he was attacked by a swarm of bees, and was later estimated to have been stung over 150 times.
A neighbor heard the screams and called 9-1-1. A delivery driver attempted to help, but also ended up getting stung.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and EMS helicopter all responded to the scene.
The victim had an anaphylactic reaction to the stings and had to be airlifted by Washington County EMS helicopter to the hospital for further treatment.
On Friday, the victim, who identified himself as Johnny Primeaux Jr., posted a message on the Prairie Hill Fire Department’s Facebook Page.
In the message, Primeaux said that he is still alive and doing well. He added that he wanted to take the time to thank everyone involved with saving his life.
