BRENHAM FD CALLED OUT FOR GAS SMELL

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to one call on Tuesday after receiving a report of a gas smell inside a building.

Just before 3 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Baylor Scott & White – The Brenham Clinic, 600 North Park Street.

The fire department and City of Brenham Gas Department arrived on location to find no reading of gas on the gas detector.  The gas department advised it was checking the gas meter about 20 minutes prior, and that is what caused the smell.  Firefighters returned to service.
