BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION

A Brenham man was arrested by local police on Monday for a marijuana warrant.
Just before 4 p.m., Brenham police officers were patrolling the 2400 block of Progress Drive when they reported observing a wanted subject, identified as 29-year-old Norberto Zamora Jr.
Police say Zamora showed an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. Dispatch confirmed the warrant, and Zamora was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident for the warrant.
