LOCAL GROUPS BUILDING THEIR 300TH RAMP ON SATURDAY

Ramp builders from St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham, and folks from their community partner, Burton Bridge Ministries are reaching a milestone.
This Saturday morning, they will be building their 300th ramp. The ramp building projects for the two groups started back in 2009.
The 300th ramp is going to William Houston at 4800 Main Street in Chappell Hill.
The construction, which is part of the Texas Ramp Project, begins at 8am, and is expected to finish around 10:30am.
TRP's mission is to provide wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities, at no cost to the recipient.
Their vision is that no Texas resident shall lack safe access because of financial limitations.
