BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR DWI, MARIJUANA WARRANT

  

The Brenham Police Department reported one arrest on Wednesday for driving while intoxicated and another arrest early this (Thursday) morning for a marijuana possession warrant.

Around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Officer LeDarion Jenkins responded to the intersection of South Chappell Hill Street and Highway 290 East in reference to a motor vehicle crash.  During the investigation, police determined that the driver was intoxicated.  65-year-old Michael Raymond Krueger of Brenham was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Driving While Intoxicated.

Shortly after 4:30 a.m. today, Officer Jenkins and Officer Trinten Rolling responded to the 800 block of Brown Street in reference to a complainant call.  After further investigation, police learned that 47-year-old Benjamin Villarreal Jr. of Brenham had an active warrant out of Washington County Court at Law for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.  Villarreal was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
