RT-C VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS MUMFORD IN NON-DISTRICT MATCH

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes picked up another win in front of the hometown crowd last (Tuesday) night as they swept Mumford in a non-district match 3-0.

RT-C won the sets 25-14, 25-16, and 25-12.

Bree Dooley led the offense with 13 kills. Morgan Nelius added 10 kills.

Madison Markwardt dished out 35 assists.

The digs were distributed pretty evenly among the team. Nelius and Markwardt led with five digs each.

With the win, Round Top-Carmine is now ranked #3 in the State in Class 1A with a 14-7 overall record.

Next up, they will be heading to Burton on Friday to renew an old rivalry with the Lady Panthers. First serve is scheduled for 5pm at the Burton High School Gym.

RT-C has also announced that Friday, September 18, is going to be their annual Alumni Game. It is going to begin at 5pm at Round Top-Carmine High School.
