BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR DWI, INVALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
Brenham police reported arrests on Wednesday for driving with an invalid license and driving while intoxicated.
Nearing 9:45 a.m., Sergeant Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop near the 2100 block of Highway 290 West for a traffic infraction. After investigation, the driver, 35-year-old Ivette Stephanie Bazan of Houston, was taken into custody for Driving While License Invalid. Bazan was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., Officer Carley Lee and Corporal Andrea Guerra were dispatched near the 2700 block of South Market Street for a report of an unconscious person in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. The call for service resulted in 39-year-old Kalyn Stelwagen of Brenham being taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More. Stelwagen was booked into the Washington County Jail.
