BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS FOR ACCIDENT, FIRE ALARM
The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Tuesday.
At 9 a.m., firefighters were called out to the 200 block of Baber Street for a report of illegal burning. They arrived on location to find a neighbor cooking on a barbecue pit, so they returned to service.
At 10:30 a.m., BFD personnel were dispatched to a transportation incident in the 100 block of North Chappell Hill Street. They found a two-vehicle accident with minor damage and no injuries. The department cleared the call once the roadway was back open.
Around 2:30 p.m., units went out for a fire alarm at Innocore Foam Technologies, 1200 Rink Street. Nothing was showing from the outside of the building, and they discovered the power was turned off to the building for a repair that caused the alarm to go off.
