BRITTON RETAINS SILVER SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE

Jahyden Franklin Britton continues his climb up the boxing ranks as he secured a victory in the first defense of his WBA/NABA Silver Super Middleweight Championship on Friday night in Houston.

Britton, a 2023 graduate of Brenham High School, knocked out journeyman Gonzalo Andreasen of Bueno Aires, Argentina in the second round of their title fight at the BiYu Arena.

Andreasen was a last second replacement for Louis Hernandez, who pulled out of the fight for undisclosed reasons.

The bout was his fourth fight of the year. Britton won the championship in his previous fight back in August.

With the win, the 21-year-old rising star is now 11-0 overall and has seven knockouts.
