GRBA FOUND GUILTY PUNISHMENT PHASE BEGINS
The punishment phase has begun in the murder trial of 20-year old Broderick Grba in the Burleson County Courthouse.
Grba was convicted late Friday in the murder of a College Station man during a dispute in the parking lot of a Snook apartment complex in January of 2013.
The same seven woman and five man jury who convicted Grba after a week long trial will be deciding how severe his punishment will be. This is not a capital murder but Grba could be sent to prison for the rest of his life.
It was during the early morning hours of January 7th, 2013 when Grba shot 31-year old Marcus Carroll of College Station to death during a dispute. Grba was arrested soon after the incident.
After an investigation Grba was charged with aggravated assault and burglary. He was convicted on those charges, too.
