COLLEGE STATION SEARS TO CLOSE DOORS
Sears has announced another round of closures, and this time the College Station store is on the list.
Sears at Post Oak Mall is slated to close in late September.
Sears says eligible associates will receive severance and will have the opportunity to apply for open positions at area Sears or Kmart stores.
Nation-wide, Sears is closing 46 store. The only other Texas store to close is in the Memorial area of Houston.
The Brenham Sears store is not affected by the closures.
