TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL WARRANTS
Two people face charges after their arrests in Brenham on outstanding warrants.
Wednesday morning at around 2:00, Corporal Ashley Burns was patrolling the 3600 block of Highway 36 South when she observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a local store.
52-year old Curtis Toliver of Houston was found at ther scene and had a probation violation warrant for lack of child support.
Toliver was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then, around 9:30 last (Wednesday) night, Corporal Edward Ortega was dispatched to the Washington County Jail to serve warrants on 57-year old Ruby Coker Cleveland of Brenham.
Cleveland was placed into custody for six warrants of Issuance of Bad Checks and booked on the warrants.
