POLICE ARREST LOCAL MAN ON WEAPON CHARGE

A Brenham man faces a weapon charge after a Friday night traffic stop.
Just after 10:00 p.m., Officer Eddie Martinez conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of South Jackson St.
Officers located a weapon inside the vehicle that reportedly belonged to 41-year old Clifford Williams of Brenham.
Williams was placed into custody for Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon.
