CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL PICKS FINALISTS FOR ADMINISTRATOR POSITION
Five finalists have been selected for the position of Caldwell City Administrator.
The remaining candidates were chosen from 30 applicants at the council’s meeting last week, after a brief executive session. The Caldwell City Council is holding several special meetings this week to interview the finalists.
The council will be replacing Johnny Price, who is retiring effective April 1st.
According to Mayor Norris McManus, the finalists are not being named in order to prevent conflicts with their current employment. The list of finalists is subject to change following the interviews, and a decision on a final candidate is not expected after Saturday’s set of interviews.
There is not a specific timeline to hire a new administrator, but the council could make a decision at a special meeting within the next few weeks, or at its next regular meeting on April 16th.
