ZYTHOLOGICAL SOCIETY HOSTING BIERVERKOSTUNG BEER TASTING AT MAIFEST SATURDAY

  

The 2019 Bierverkostung craft beer tasting will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the Brenham Maifest.

Hosted by the Texas Chapter of the Zythological Society of North America, the tasting will be under cover at Fireman’s Park from 2 to 5 p.m.

Each of the six attending breweries will have two of their beers available for tasting.  This year’s breweries are: event co-sponsor Saint Arnold Brewing Co. of Houston; Brazos Valley Brewing from Brenham; Huff Brewing Co. from Bellville; No Label Brewing Co. from Katy; Altstadt Brewery from Fredricksburg; and Karbach Brewing Co. from Houston.

The Bierverkostung event is entering its fourth year, coinciding with the annual Maifest German Festival offering live German music, a home brew and beer stein holding contest, food vendors and more.

Tickets are $20 per person, which will include a dozen tastings and a souvenir pint glass.  Tickets can be purchased at the event, or online at https://zythological.com/.
