SALES TAX WORKSHOP OFFERED BY BLINN SBDC
The Blinn College Small Business Development Center is offering a free seminar to help business owners with Texas sales tax.
The two-hour seminar will be held Thursday, June 13, at 1 p.m. at the Brenham Campus Student Center.
Michael Stegint, an enforcement officer at the State Comptroller’s Office in Houston, will explain the proper record-keeping and filing requirements for business owners who must collect and file state sales tax.
After his presentation, Stegint will answer questions from the audience.
